What is SWPPP?
A SWPPP is considered a living document and must reflect a projects specific scope as well as updates reflecting site changes. The SWPPP identifies the responsible parties such as the LRP (Owner), Contractors, Subcontractors, QSD (SWPPP Designer) and QSP (Site Inspectors).
The SWPPP includes a Construction Site Monitoring and Reporting Program which outlines monitoring and reporting requirements. A SWPPP must be kept current and reflect actual site conditions. Amendments to a SWPPP are to be performed by a QSD.
